Ground below grade, roots and all, with the spot raked clean. Same-day service and a price you know before we start.
A leftover stump is an eyesore, a tripping hazard, a lawnmower-killer, and a magnet for termites and new sucker growth. Grinding it out is faster, cheaper, and far less destructive to your yard than digging or chemicals.
We bring a commercial grinder to you, set our cut depth, and grind the stump 4–8 inches (or more) below grade — low enough to plant grass, lay sod, pour a patio, or run a fence line right over the top.
Stump diameter (measured at the widest point), how tall it's left, access (tight gates, backyards), and whether you want roots ground and chips hauled. We tell you the number up front — always.
💡 Saves you money: the lower the tree is cut before we grind, the faster and cheaper the grind.
Text a photo of your stump and a rough width to 832-509-5499 — you'll get a real price back fast, no site visit needed. Or call and we'll usually have you on the schedule same or next day.
Standard is 4–8 inches below grade; deeper if you're planting a new tree or pouring concrete. Just tell us the plan for the spot.
You'll have a depression filled with grindings, which we backfill for you. Want it gone entirely? We'll haul the grindings and leave it at grade (small add-on) — top with soil and seed and it disappears.
We grind surface roots on request — recommended before sod, fences, or flatwork.
Most gates, yes — our machines are built to fit through. Send a photo of the gate and path and we'll confirm before we roll out.
We call 811 for public utilities and ask you about private lines (sprinklers, landscape lighting, lines to a shed or pool) that 811 doesn't mark — a quick walk-through keeps everything safe.
"Removal" usually means digging the whole root ball out, which tears up your yard and costs far more. Grinding turns the stump into mulch below ground level — cleaner, faster, cheaper, and the result you actually want.
